What is MonoDuo? 
MonoDuo is new music and arts festival held on the shores of Lake Macquarie, Awabakal Country. 

Welcoming friends and artists from around the country, MonoDuo is a festival of syncopated and merging ideas: the anti-dystopian, the non-utopian, the somewhere in between, a free-forming place, where new ideas generate and memories are etched.

MonoDuo is brought to you as part of MAP mima presents, a series of curated performances that highlight the unique nature of MAP mima as a multi-purpose performance space that integrates art and technology.

So go on get out of town for the day, support some local talent. 

Don't stress you the organisers have arranged for some coaches for you town folk to cruise on down and back. The busses will run from Newy Interchange and tickets for this service are available HERE

or you like adventure then you can also catch the train to Cockle Creek and have a short 20min stroll to the event gates.
