XLARGE co-founder Eli Bonerz declares the brand "not a skate brand, a graffiti brand,  rave or club brand, it's a streetwear brand, period, end of story. 

two college roommates opened the first XLARGE store in the East Hollywood neighbourhood of Los Feliz, on  Vermont Street, back in 1991. Wanting to be a place were they could sell clothes they wanted to wear staying true to the player and not the game.
